Balloon to screen on Tuesday 8th June: Booking required
Following our screenings of Free Solo we now confirm arrangements for matinee and evening performances of Balloon on Tuesday the 8th June. Further details of this film is available on the events section of the website.
Social distancing requirements will require that the maximum number of members allowed in the Town Hall is limited to approximately 30. Consequently, in addition to our normal evening screening which will be at 7:30pm, we will be running an additional matinee performance on the same day starting at 2:30pm.
Tickets (which will be free of charge) for each performance will need to be booked in advance and will only be available to existing Film Club members (from the 2019/2020 season -i.e from when we were last operating). We will allocate tickets based on the order in which fully completed booking requests are received.
Face coverings will be required when entering, leaving and moving about the Town Hall but can be removed whilst watching the film. Further instructions on social distancing measures will be provided with booking confirmations.
Booking requests for Balloon will open at 9am on Thursday 27th May. Please do not try to book before this time. Please do not turn up for any screening unless you have confirmation that you have been allocated a ticket. We will attempt to contact everyone within 5 days of your booking and by Sunday 6th June at the latest.
The primary and preferred means of making a booking request will be by internet. Please request a seat via the following link which will become active at 9am Thursday 27th May (you will probably get an error message if you try to access before this time).
For those who cannot book through the internet directly we will also take booking requests via email on email@example.com and via the telephone by calling John on 07905 971608. Please do not attempt to book via these means until the booking window opens at 9am Thursday 27th May.
Finally, we are hoping that our 2021/22 season will be able to run with minimal disruption and have Tuesday 7th September pencilled in as the start of the season.
