After Love
Set in the port town of Dover in the South-East of England, Ahmed’s work takes him back and forth across the Channel. Mary Hussain, his wife (played by Joanna Scanlan), waits at home. But when Ahmed dies suddenly, Mary finds just a day after the burial that the husband she thought she knew had another life in France. She discovers he has a secret family just twenty-one miles across the English Channel in Calais.
