The Golden Spurtle
For 30 years Carrbridge in the Scottish Highlands has hosted the World Porridge Championships. This year it’s the last time Charlie Miller will be in charge of the festivities, it’s time for the warm-hearted Scotsman to pass on the spurtle. We are with Charlie and the deeply dedicated in the weeks leading up to and during the championships, where they make culinary creations out of oatmeal, water and salt. Our first social evening of the season, starting at 7.30 with mince pies and mulled wine, followed by the film.
