This is also the Club’s AGM, where there will be an opportunity to socialise with other club members before a brief AGM. The film Hard Truths will follow. Pansy (Marianne Jean-Baptiste) is tormented by anger and depression, quick to take offence and quick to fly off the handle. She criticises her family so relentlessly that neither bothers to argue with her. She picks fights with strangers and sales clerks and enunciates all wrongs to all around her, especially to her cheerful sister Chantal, who, despite this, might be the only person still capable of sympathising with her.
